My work is about the connections we make;
to the world, the people around us and, most importantly, to ourselves.
I grew up in a family of artists; painters, photographers, writers and crafters. Some of them made careers out of their art and others lived creatively through everything they did. These family members encouraged me to create, and I have learned that I can’t live fully if I am not making things. I am inspired by memories, family histories, our sensitivity to what’s around us and how we process our feelings. Life, to me, is about celebrating the things that are beautiful, and trying to keep a sense of humour about ourselves.
